About Recruitment
The Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Assam has opened applications for Veterinary Field Assistant and allied cadre positions.
Candidates will be selected through an objective type written examination followed by a mandatory training program.

Full-time Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination pass in Science stream with Biology as one of the subjects from a recognized Board, Council, or University.

Mandatory Training Details
Selected candidates must complete a one-year training program in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science.
Training takes place at the School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Assam, Silchar, prior to formal appointment.
Written Test Structure
The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions for a total of 100 marks.
Test duration is 120 minutes and covers Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Awareness at the Class 12 standard.
