• Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) has invited online applications for 1,213 vacancies under Advertisement Number AVNL/CO/HR/2026/06.
• The recruitment includes 1,005 Junior Technician (Non-Executive) posts and 208 Executive posts.
• Junior Technician vacancies are available in trades including Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Electroplater, Fitter (General), Foundrymen, Forger & Heat Treater, Machinist, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, OMHE at Raw Material Handling Plant, Painter (General), Quality Assurance Assistant, Rigger and Welder.
• Executive vacancies include Junior Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Consultant, Additional General Manager, Deputy General Manager and Senior Manager posts in various disciplines.
• The online application process commenced on 11 July 2026 and the extended last date for submission is 31 July 2026.
• The recruitment is for Fixed Term Employment of 1 year, extendable up to 4 years.

Eligibility

• Junior Technician posts require NTC/NAC in the relevant trade issued by NCVT.
• Executive posts require prescribed qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech, MBA, CA, Company Secretary qualification or other post-specific qualifications.
• Age limit is up to 30 years for Junior Technician, Junior Manager, Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager posts, subject to applicable relaxations.
• Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager, Additional General Manager and Consultant posts have an upper age limit below 65 years, inclusive of applicable relaxations.

Remuneration

• Junior Technician: Basic pay of Rs. 21,000 per month plus applicable allowances.
• Junior Manager: Basic pay of Rs. 30,000 per month plus applicable allowances.
• Assistant Manager: Basic pay of Rs. 40,000 per month plus applicable allowances.
• Deputy Manager: Basic pay of Rs. 50,000 per month plus applicable allowances.
• Senior Manager: Basic pay of Rs. 70,000 per month plus applicable allowances.
• Deputy General Manager: Basic pay of Rs. 80,000 per month plus applicable allowances.
• Additional General Manager: Basic pay of Rs. 1,00,000 per month plus applicable allowances.
• Consultant: Basic pay of Rs. 1,20,000 per month plus applicable allowances.

Exam Pattern

• The CBT is objective multiple-choice type for a maximum of 100 marks with no negative marking.
• Part A consists of General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, with 10 questions and 10 marks for each subject.
• Part B consists of 50 questions for 50 marks based on the relevant NCVT trade syllabus for Junior Technician posts or the relevant discipline for Manager-level posts.
• The total duration of the written examination is 2 hours.
• Part A is at 10th Standard level for Junior Technician posts and at Graduate level for other posts.

Application Fee

• General, EWS and OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 300.
• SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates are exempted from the application fee.
• The fee can be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.

Test Centres

• CBT test centres include Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Kanpur.
• Candidates must select their preferred test centre while submitting the online application.

Documents Required

• Class X passing certificate or marksheet, PAN Card and Aadhaar Card for name and date-of-birth proof.
• Relevant caste, disability, EWS or OBC-NCL certificate, as applicable.
• NTC/NAC certificate in the relevant trade for Junior Technician posts.
• Bachelor's Degree or prescribed qualification certificate for applicable Executive posts.
• Other applicable documents such as Trade Apprentice Training Certificate, PwBD proof or Ex-Servicemen proof.
