About Recruitment

• Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited has invited online applications for 154 Non-Management posts in its Mumbai and Kochi Refineries.
• The vacancies include Process Technician (Chemical), Process Operator/Operator (Chemical), Technician/Operator (Mechanical), and Technician (Electrical).
• Eligible candidates must possess the prescribed full-time regular diploma in the relevant engineering discipline along with the required experience or apprenticeship.
• The selection process consists of a Computer Based Test, Skill/Proficiency Test and Pre-Employment Medical Examination.

Vacancy Details

• Process Technician (Chemical) - Mumbai Refinery: 60 posts.
• Process Operator/Operator (Chemical) - Kochi Refinery: 64 posts.
• Technician/Operator (Mechanical) - Kochi Refinery: 13 posts.
• Technician (Electrical) - Kochi Refinery: 17 posts.

Application Fee

• General, EWS and OBC (NCL) candidates: ₹590.
• SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the application fee.

Examination

• The Computer Based Test is tentatively scheduled for September 2026.
• The CBT consists of 100 questions and is conducted for 120 minutes.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Age Limit

• The age limit is 18 to 25 years as on 01 July 2026.
• Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as prescribed in the notification.
