Bachelor of Technology in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture with a First Class Certificate of Competency and 12 years of relevant experience.
12+ Years(Must include at least 2 years of experience as a Chief Engineer officer onboard merchant ships.)

Master's degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55 percent marks along with National Eligibility Test qualification or a Doctorate degree.
Monthly remuneration is Rs. 47,000 for candidates with a Ph.D. and Rs. 45,000 for candidates without a Ph.D.
