• Applicants must possess a Degree in Law and be enrolled as an advocate with a minimum of 7 years of active legal practice.

• Must be a citizen of India and registered as an advocate under the provisions of the Advocates Act with a Bar Council.
• Must have a minimum of 7 years of practice as an advocate in legal practice.
• Must be an Assessee of Income Tax for at least three preceding financial years in the financial year in which application is made.

Enclosures Required

• Prescribed bio-data/application form
• Self-attested passport-size photograph affixed on the application form
• Matriculation certificate/mark sheet for date of birth verification
• Relevant educational qualification certificates and mark sheets (Degree in Law)
• Bar Council registration certificate and registration number/year proof
• Proof of practice from the concerned Bar Association
• Income tax return/assessment documents for the past three preceding financial years
• Self-declaration regarding no individual or partnership business
