Postgraduate degree in MD or DNB in Anaesthesiology recognized by the National Medical Commission with valid medical council registration.
Relaxation applies as per Bihar State Govt. rules: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for EBC/BC, and 03 years for female candidates.
Pay plus Non-Practicing Allowance and other allowances as per rules.

Walk-in Interview and Document Verification
The appointment is made under an 89-day Senior Residency Programme.
The walk-in interview is scheduled for 22 October 2026, with reporting time at 09:00 AM.
The interview will be held at the Department of Anaesthesiology, First floor, near OT complex, IGIMS, Patna - 800014.
The upper age limit is 45 years, with age relaxations applicable as per Bihar State Government rules.
Candidates must have medical qualifications in schedule I & II of the MCI Act and an NMC-recognized PG qualification of MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology, and must be registered with the Central or State Medical Council.
