About Recruitment

• Indian Institute of Technology Indore invites online applications for the temporary project fellowship position of Project Assistant.
• The selected candidate will work on the DST-funded project focusing on wastewater treatment, renewable energy sources, and environmental sustainability.
• The initial appointment duration is 5 months or till project completion, whichever is earlier, with a consolidated monthly fellowship of Rs. 37,000/-.

Essential Qualifications

• M.Tech. or M.Sc. degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, or allied fields.
• Basic understanding of water quality, environmental pollution, bioremediation, renewable energy sources, and environmental sustainability.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English, along with expertise in report writing and documentation.

Desirable Qualifications

• GATE qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment, environmental monitoring, and renewable energy technologies.
• Prior experience in research projects, report writing, or publications.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and handle fieldwork in remote locations.
