About Recruitment

• Indian Institute of Technology Jammu has invited online applications for Junior Research Fellow positions on a contractual basis.
• Applicants must possess an M.Tech, B.Tech, or M.Sc degree in relevant engineering or science disciplines along with valid GATE or NET scores.
• Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000 plus applicable HRA.

Eligibility Criteria

• M.Tech/M.E. in relevant engineering streams with a minimum of 60% marks and a preferable valid GATE score.
• B.Tech/B.E. in relevant engineering streams with a minimum of 60% marks and a mandatory valid GATE score.
• M.Sc in Polymer Science, Materials Science, or Materials Technology with a valid GATE or NET score.

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit is 35 years.
• Age relaxation is applicable up to 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.

Salary Details

• Rs. 31,000 per month plus 16% House Rent Allowance.
