About Recruitment

• U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), ISRO, Department of Space invites online applications for 410 Apprentice vacancies for the training period 2026-27.
• Vacancy distribution: Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech.) - 220 posts, Technician Apprentice (Diploma) - 120 posts, Commercial Practice Apprentice - 70 posts.
• Stipend: ₹12,300/- per month for Graduate Apprentices; ₹10,900/- per month for Technician and Commercial Practice Apprentices.
• Eligibility: Candidates who passed out during the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 as regular students are eligible.

Educational Qualification & Age/Passing Criteria

• Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech. in relevant discipline from a recognized University.
• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline from a recognized Board.
• Commercial Practice Apprentice: Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized Board.
• Only candidates passed out in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 through regular courses are eligible.
• Candidates who cleared their qualification prior to 2021 or are currently pursuing higher studies are not eligible.

Terms of Engagement

• Apprenticeship period is 12 months from the date of contract execution under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
• This training does not guarantee or confer any right to regular employment at URSC or ISRO.
• Candidates with 1 year or more prior work experience or prior apprenticeship training are ineligible.
