About Recruitment

• The Women and Child Development Department, Yadgir has announced recruitment for 232 Anganwadi Worker and Helper posts.
• The recruitment includes 61 Anganwadi Karyakarte (Worker) posts and 171 Anganwadi Sahayaki (Helper) posts.
• Only women candidates are eligible to apply.
• Applications will be accepted online from 24 July 2026 to 24 August 2026.
• The recruitment covers Anganwadi centres in Shahapur, Surapur, Yadgir and Gurumatkal taluks.

Eligibility

• Only women candidates are eligible to apply.
• Candidates must be residents of the concerned village/gram panchayat or ward as specified in the notification.
• Women belonging to linguistic minority communities are also eligible subject to notification conditions.

Age Limit

• General candidates: 19 to 35 years.
• Persons with disabilities are eligible for 10 years of age relaxation.

Educational Qualification

• Anganwadi Karyakarte: Minimum PUC pass with Kannada studied as first or second language in SSLC.
• Anganwadi Sahayaki: Minimum SSLC or equivalent pass with Kannada studied as first or second language.

• Anganwadi Karyakarte: 61 posts.
• Anganwadi Sahayaki: 171 posts.
