Walk-in Interview
The interview starts at 2:00 P.M. on 5 November 2026 in the Seminar Hall, Department of Biochemistry, NEHU, Shillong. Candidates must report before 1:30 P.M.
Candidates who qualified CSIR-UGC NET-LS, GATE or a national-level exam get Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA. Other candidates receive Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA.
The Field Assistant receives Rs. 20,000/- per month plus HRA as per DBT OM.
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates or Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others per month
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Life Sciences or Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university.
Upper age limit is 50 years
Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month as per DBT OM
Candidates must have a B.Sc. in Life Sciences or Agricultural Sciences. M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Microbiology is desirable.
The upper age limit is 35 years for Project Associate-I and 50 years for Field Assistant.
