About Recruitment

• National Institute of Technology Silchar has invited applications for 1 Junior Research Fellow post.
• Candidates with M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a valid GATE score can apply.
• Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a valid GATE score can also apply.
• Prior knowledge of Microgrid Dynamics and Control, Solar PV, Power Electronics Converters, and AI/ML Algorithms is advantageous but not mandatory.
• The maximum age limit is 35 years as on the closing date of application.
• The stipend is Rs. 37,000 per month for the first two years as JRF and Rs. 42,000 per month for the third year as SRF.

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit is 35 years as on the closing date of application.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates will be as per Government of India rules.

Salary / Stipend

• Rs. 37,000 per month for the first two years as JRF.
• Rs. 42,000 per month for the third year as SRF.
