Important Dates

About Recruitment

• NLC India Limited has announced 1,235 apprenticeship training slots for the 2026-27 training year under Advertisement Nos. L&DC/02/2026 and L&DC/03/2026.
• The recruitment covers Trade (ITI), Non-Engineering Graduate, Engineering Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices.
• A total of 875 slots are for eligible wards of NLCIL Project Affected Persons, while 360 slots are for eligible wards of NLCIL employees and specified contract workmen.
• The apprenticeship training duration is 12 months and the training location is Neyveli, Tamil Nadu.
• The monthly stipend ranges from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,028 depending on the apprentice category.
• Online applications are accepted from 29 July 2026 at 10:00 AM to 11 August 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Educational Qualification

• Trade Apprentice: ITI pass in the relevant trade from a recognized institute under the Craftsman Training Scheme.
• Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution.
• Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline from a UGC-approved university.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Regular full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized board, university or equivalent institution.

Age Limit

• Candidates must have completed a minimum of 18 years of age as prescribed under the Apprentices Act.

Year of Passing

• Engineering Graduate, Non-Engineering Graduate and Technician Diploma candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
• The year-of-passing condition is not applicable to ITI candidates.

Stipend

• Trade (ITI) Apprentice: Rs. 12,000 per month.
• Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,524 per month.
• Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 15,028 per month.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Rs. 12,524 per month.
• Nursing, Pharmacist and applicable Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 15,028 per month.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should not have previously undergone apprenticeship training at NLC India Limited or elsewhere.
• Candidates currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.
• Candidates should not have one year or more of work experience.
• Candidates must satisfy the specific NLCIL employee, contract workman or Project Affected Person relationship criteria prescribed under the applicable advertisement.

Documents Required

• Recent passport-size colour photograph and candidate's signature.
• Transfer Certificate and Aadhaar Card.
• SSLC/10th Mark Sheet for date of birth proof.
• HSC/12th Mark Sheet, where applicable.
• ITI Certificate and ITI semester-wise or consolidated mark sheets for Trade Apprentice candidates.
• Degree/Diploma Certificate and semester-wise or consolidated marks sheets, as applicable.
• Temporary Provisional Certificate, where applicable.
• CGPA/OGPA conversion certificate, where applicable.
• Community Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates claiming reservation.
• Disability Certificate for PwBD candidates, where applicable.
• Other category-specific eligibility documents.

PAP Candidate Documents

• Candidates applying under Advertisement No. L&DC/02/2026 must be eligible wards of Project Affected Persons whose house or land was acquired by NLC India Limited on or after 1 July 1989.
• Eligible PAP candidates must obtain the PAP Certificate issued by the Land Department of NLC India Limited and upload it with the online application.
• The last date for submission of necessary documents to the Land Department for obtaining the PAP Certificate is 7 August 2026.

Employee and Contract Workmen Documents

• Wards or spouses of in-service NLCIL employees: Employee ID Card, Employee Medical Identity Book first and third pages, and applicant's Medical Treatment Book first page.
• Wards of retired NLCIL employees: Retired Employee ID Card.
• Wards of deceased NLCIL employees: Removal from Roll Copy and Death Certificate.
• Wards of Indcoserve/Howsicos contract workmen: Form-1 duly completed and signed by the concerned authorities.
• Wards of AMC/BMC contract workmen: Form-2 duly completed and signed by the concerned authorities.
