Passed the Madhyamik examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent qualification, coupled with elementary knowledge of computer operations and a typing speed of 20 words per minute in English or 10 words per minute in Bengali.
Age calculated as on 01.01.2024 with upper age relaxations applicable for reserved categories.

The recruitment is conducted by the Public Service Commission, West Bengal (WBPSC).
The last date to submit the online application form and pay the application fee is 26 October 2026 up to 3:30 p.m.
Candidates must have passed the Madhyamik examination or its equivalent, along with basic computer operation knowledge and typing speed of 20 wpm in English or 10 wpm in Bengali.
Level 6 pay scale ranging from Rs. 22,700 to Rs. 58,500 plus Dearness Allowance, Medical Allowance, and House Rent Allowance as per ROPA, 2019.
Test of computer operation and typing speed
Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age as on 01.01.2024.
General, EWS, and OBC candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 110 plus service charges, whereas SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and PwBD candidates with 40% and above disability are exempted.
The selection process consists of a Part-I Objective Examination, Part-II Conventional Written Examination, and a computer operation and typing test.
