Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) with GATE qualification, or Master's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Materials, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant branch of Engineering or Science.
Age relaxation is provided as 3 years for OBC candidates, and 5 years for SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Female candidates against the upper age limit of 28 years.
